Organise the team, plan work flow, provide guidance, advice, training and assistance to the team, accounts preparation, reconciliations, VAT returns and tax planning.
Part qualified FCA and qualified by experience. I have been working in accountancy since January 1990 in a variety of firms, both big and small. I have experience with primarily SMEs but also some large businesses covering all aspects of accounts, corporate taxes and personal taxes.
We are like a family and everyone is willing to help everyone else. No big egos.
Very keen on DIY and have a lot of projects on the go – currently replacing the worn out decking in the garden. I am king of the flat-pack and built most of the office furniture. I love playing board games with the family – we joke the only reason we had kids is to have more to play games with! I enjoy quizzes and finding new and interesting ales – frequently combining these at pub quizzes. I’m also very outdoorsy and love hiking and camping.
