Financial Scams

September 26, 2022

It has been brought to our attention that there are many financial scams being attempted/taking place.

Please be careful when you receive emails, text messages and phone calls. Some of the signs to look out for are as follows:

  • The sender address/phone number – any text messages or phone calls received from a mobile number impersonating your bank, Royal Mail, NHS, GOV.UK etc could be an attempted scam. Likewise for unrecognised email addresses.
  • Do not provide any personal or financial details in response to an email or an unexpected call.
  • Don’t click on any links or open attachments unless you are sure that it is from a trusted sender.

If you are ever unsure about whether a sender is genuine, contact the company’s customer service email address or call them. You can find these details online or on a statement of account.

If you have any questions regarding this then please do not hesitate to contact us.
