Mileage Allowance Increase
Yesterday, the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves announced you’ll now be able to claim tax relief of 55p per mile for the first 10,000 miles driven in the tax year. This is an increase of 10p from 45p per mile. It comes as the Chancellor has announced a support package designed to help consumers with rising living costs.
If we historically have made adjustments for mileage relief, we will ensure that this is dealt with in accounts and associated tax calculations.
