When did you start working here?

I started working here in November 2021, this being when Fawcett & Co became part of the Jackson Stapleton group.

What do you do day to day?

I balance the needs of the practice, with still working hands on with clients. My main focus for the practice is ensuring that the business works to deliver the highest possible standards and grows. When working with clients, I tend to be focusing on businesses which are looking for assistance to improve performance or at the other end of the spectrum assisting the owners sell the business or deal with succession planning.

What qualifications and experience do you have?

In 2003 I passed the AAT examinations. I have 23 years of experience working in practice, of which over 15 of them have been at a senior level. In addition to running my own practice, I have other business interests which I feel complements the experience of working within practice.

What do you like about working here?

I enjoy being part of a team with an amazing group. We are a sum of our parts, whom in a small period of time have grown to be a multi-site accountancy practice.

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children. Trivial pursuits include watching Liverpool and Scunthorpe United. Occasionally you might find me with a six stringed instrument, reliving a past life.
